I am listing some recently aquired purchases and very rare personal chips on eBay. Some have told me the hobby is "soft" or "slow" or "dead" but I believe it is just a lack of QUALITY and RARE material offered for sale. I have seen the same thing happen over the last 25 years in many other collectibles. Many of the chips I am offering have less than 10 known to exist with just a handful on most. A coin or baseball card with 10 in existence would sell for hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars, granted a much larger collector base. This is an opportunity to aquire very rare chips when they come up for sale at a discount to what they would have sold for 3 to 5 years ago. Some of these were purchased when 2 major collections came up for sale in 2006-2008 and some of them were put away by a coin collector that liked high denomination casino chips. I am happy to sell a few of them or put the entire group away for the longer term. I am not sure how to post a link but I am coolcj1 on eBay. Thanks for looking!
