I looked at your Locust Projects website (which is great by the way), and that seems like a project that the government would be willing to give a grant to. Just talking out of my butt here, but does our organization seems like it would have any chance of obtaining a grant? I know the government has spent money of some really strange things in the past so I guess anything is possible!

What kind of fees do grant writers require. What is their general success rate?

It would be interesting to have one take a look at our organization and see what they think.
