First, it would be nice to attract those who might be in town to pop in... but I'm thinking a little further by attracting those who live in town (for that weekend).

Within the thread below there was a post about two chippers who were at a casino function and bumped into a woman who had been collecting chips for approx. 20-25 years -- and she had no idea, whatsover, that there was a National club w/ International members who have been organized for as long as she has been collecting, and that we held a local convention on and off Strip for the past TWENTY-LONG-YEARS (how many other locals never heard of us?). A bit shocking, I would think; for a local chip collector not knowing we exist...!

So, getting back to that weekend; "attracting locals..." and perhaps locals who have been in town for quite a while... like perhaps 20-years, 30-years, or even longer, who, though not a collector as we picture a collector, but rather a casual collector; like someone who picked up chips and simply tucked them away for whatever reason... Read on...

Now, I know this will work, and I know it'll work well...

...and all we need to do is run some small local ads like "OBSOLETE CHIP COLLECTORS/BUYERS/APPRAISERS IN TOWN on... at..." and see what happens.

Don't you think it'll be better that they come see us rather than going somewhere else...????
