yes....A 100mm lens on one of these cameras shows the same area of view that a 160mm lens would show on a 35mm film or full-frame camera
now some of the newer canon lenses, such as the EF-S lens are designed for the smaller sensors, they would not work on canon eos film bodies or the older digital bodies like the 10D, D30 or D60, and 1.3x... or full frame digital
