as I used to really squeeze the comps out and make it look like i was spending and playing etc
Comp City by Max Rubin was my bible...anyway.....
We used to return the comps with gifts to our casino hosts
one of the best things was to send a TY or compliment the Host to his/her boss!
Another gift was the pen set. because hosts had the "power of the pen" back then
I would by a pen/pencil set engraved with their name on it. ties, hankies, are also inexpensive
for women, fragences are nice or a scarf always went over good
also with a $150 food comp, if all the comp is not used,
throw a bootle of wine on the tab to bring it to $150
then, give the nice Katrina the bootle of wine! everybody gets and wins in this scenerio.
remmeber, the gift cant be to expensive or they cannot accept!
