First of all, I'm guessing you would require a bit of surgery to be a "proper" cocktail waitress <g>.

Second, This is a VERY touchy subject among dealers when people start talking about how much we make. Thank you very much for putting this into perspective for most of the folks out there. I know that we have had (in the not too distant past) union people sniffing around Tunica and for the most part the dealers here seem to be against the unions. I feel the same as you when it comes to knowing where my bread-n-butter was going to come from when I got into this business and I will vote (should it ever come to that) AGAINST a union in this area also.

Personally, I don't agree with people who don't tip based on how much the dealers make (obviously). Mainly because these same people will give a waitress $1 or more EVERY SINGLE time she brings them a drink. I've told people anytime they ask about it, I'll take a dollar on the line with a dollar odds all day long over ANY other bet I've had put up for me. That's where the majority of dealers money comes from here is that dollar at a time.

Lastly, if ANY of you play at a joint that IS union and it has an effect on the way the dealer treats you, go someplace else. Whatever business is going on between the dealer and the house is between the dealer and their employer and should have ABSOLUTELY no effect on the way you, as a GUEST, are treated when you come to play.
