I'm on "the other side" as you characterize it, Jim. Do you think I have some ulterior motive for not being on "the list"? This is exactly what I find offensive about waving this list of names around at other collectors. This false presumption of guilt. This judgemental attitude that is sucking the fun out of this hobby. I'm not on "the list" because I find "the list," and the attitudes of a lot of people in love with "the list," almost as offensive as the idea of slabbing. And I find the idea of slabbing damn offensive. But this thing creates an atmosphere where we all look over everyone else's shoulder and judge what they do and who they do it with. The enemy is the slabbers, not your fellow collectors. But this thing is jammed down our throats until anyone not on "the list" is the enemy. I think it sucks. Am I the enemy, Jim? Am I on "the other side"? Am I not on the list for some "selfish or self-serving reason"?
