I just stumbled upon this chips.
"Casino Golfo del Tigullio" is a complete new name for me. The "Golfo del Tigullio" is the coast from Portofino to Sestri Levante, between the towns Genova and La Spezia.
I think this chips are not from a real casino, the age and value of chips seems to be from '70's, but I'm not sure.
I remember something very similar, the chips and plaques from "Casino Lago Maggiore". Same plastic, same design. Again, there's no record about a "Casino Lago Maggiore". In the past, we had a good number of casinos, but the rule was: Local government owned and only one for each town. Because of this every casino was named "Casino Municipale di ..." Where "Municipale" means "property of local administration".
Still open to receive more info...
