I spent the weekend in Vegas and stayed at the Golden Gate. If you haven't been there in a while the deli is now completely gone and has been replaced by the new exit to valet, new rest rooms, a few more tables and a connector to the hotel lobby. You can still get the shrimp in the cafe but it doesn't have the same feel as the old days of ordering 17 shrimp cocktails..

There are some old chips in decorating the rest rooms (at least the mens). One of them is the small crown 25c free play. Will have to bring a crowbar for the next trip.

For chip news, all twelve dealer chips are on the table and I understand there will be an upcoming photo shoot for additional dealer chips. They also seem to have gotten a shipment of new $1 chips (sun mold with bridge -- TCR E0640) so if yours is in bad condition it might be a good opportunity to upgrade. There may be a slight color variation but not a lot...
