Pace slot machines

Yes the easy way to detect the pace machine is the circular coin escalator (window where the coins rotate down - an early security feature on slot machines), the stars around the base of the machine, a big star when the handle connects the slot machine, then the pace logo with wings right above the money tray. As machines got older they threw the internal mechanisms into more modern cases. Eventually single coin slots went away, however it took Harrah's into the late 1980's to replace their chromed models. To me Pace and Jennings single coin machines were the best built mechanical machines. Jennings were just beautiful machines.
