I had wanted to use a google doc, but their spreadsheets let you include images on top of the spreadsheet easily, but if you want it in a cell, you have to host the image elsewhere and link to it. Odd...

The Bento option also looks good. Especially the iphone/ipad sync. I think it would be much easier to catalog with a mobile device than my laptop and that makes it very portable. Same price as the happy chipper app, but then I don't have to launch a VM to use it.
