I shipped a knife to South Africa and followed the buyers insturctions. Do not insure do not certify do not request signagture confirmation. He also asked that I put something like camping equipment on the customs declaration with a nominal value. He said otherwise it would never reach him. It worked!! I recommend asking the buyer.
