Same thing happens to me. The first time I received a second chance I thought something was fishy, or maybe I could get the item cheaper buy bidding on it latter. Every time I offer someone a second chance they never buy it, so I quit doing it. I think Ebay should better educate buyers because it can be a valuble tool. I even use it as a buyer. There have been time I was second bidder and lost and I would ask the seller if they had another chip and to give me a second chance. It works quite often.
