The Splashbar name came from a bar that was in the Riviera Casino. The convention was held at the Riviera for a few years. It was a great gathering place for people going to the convention. When the convention was switched to South Point the name came along and a bar in South Point is called Splashbar. Here is an example of a Splashbar Bar chip from a few years ago. David makes them every year and the color of the inlay along with the convention number changes. You can pick the color of the chip. They are always very resonablely priced.
