Jim: That provoked a story from my memory. I had (12) UNC $1 notes (one from each Federal Reserve bank A-L) listed on eBay once, scanned every single note, and clearly stated it was for TWELVE notes total. I listed them for below face thinking they would go above that since they were UNC. Low and behold they closed at $11.50 or something, free shipping. I honored my word, sent them out, each in a 11ยข hard sleeve thinking the buyer would be delighted to have gotten a deal. NOPE! I got a negative with "Item not as described." I offered a full refund including shipping back to me. Buyer wrote, "Are you crazy?" As I thought about it, I decided to give him a full refund PLUS $10, with a note stating I had no idea he was so desparite for money and to please accept my donation and hoped times would get better for him. I KNEW it was BS but it sure as hell made ME fee better. I have never looked back on the small amount it costs me. (Anger managment would have been over $600/hour)
