At the advice of many board members, I purchased a Epson V30. It is very nice and taking much better scans than my previous all-in-one. The problem is that it may be taking too good of scans.
This chip looks absolutely flawless to the naked eye. Even when putting it under a bright light and getting very close, I have a really hard time seeing any flaws. The flea bites look microscopic and insignificant. There is also no dirt present
Using the V30 at 300 dpi, it picks up on every flaw and magnifies it. It makes the chip look like it got put through a grinder.
Am I doing something wrong? I use Picasa and can wash out some of it with touchup but I would rather not.
By the way, this chip is for sale.....and I promise you, it is MUCH better than in the scan. TCR Value is $150. Selling for $60 shipped
