Steve did not make it obvious but the tournaments and banquet are optional. So the only cost is the entrance fees and any hotel nights. The Southpoint is a great hotel with nice casino, great poker room and lots of other amenitites (movie theater, bowling alley, etc). Plus you will get to see hundreds of thousands of chips and meet most of the people you see hear on the Chipboard. Ya just gotta go!
