Casinos Brasileiro - Cassino Atlântico

After searching a bit, I finally managed to "rescue" this little piece of history from the time when the casinos were allowed in Brazil.

I got these chips with the granddaughter of a waitress who worked at the Casino in the 1930s. I'm trying to get to other trade.

Cassino Atlântico

The prohibition of gambling in Brazil was established under Decree-Law No. 9215 of April 30, 1946 signed by President Eurico Gaspar Dutra. But in the 1930s, the casinos made the fortune and misfortune of their frequenters. The Cassino Atlântico (Casino Atlantic), with its games of baccarat, camper, roulette, black jack and card games attracted the sophisticated society of the time, offering it also celebrated with the presentation of national and international artists.

In the photos above, the former Cassino Atlântico (Atlantic Casino), Art-Deco style, which was located on Avenida Atlantica in Copacabana Posto 6. On the left the building at night with the lights on when nights are swarming in Copacabana.

The photo on the right side of the building taken from the casino days, where it can be seen best ways of building. The building was demolished and no longer exists. Now in its place there is the Softel Hotel, built in the late 1970's, which somewhat resemble the shapes of the old building.

In the picture below, some chips Cassino Altântico. The chips have different sizes.

Red and Yellow Chips: 38mm
Green Chips: 44mm
Blue Chips: 51mm

Sorry English but tried to translate as best as possible.
