Ed, first thank you for the free guide, before your guide I would have never thought about daubing in illegal chips. Now I’ve have 100’s of illegals and I don’t even consider myself as an “illegal” collector.

Here’s a fact of life…..younger collectors WILL NOT buy or carry a 5 pound guide with them, if it can’t be put on a tablet device or an E-reader, it will go extinct in the near future.
If you purchased and carried every casino guide with you to convention, you would be lugging around at least 30 pounds of paper (verse 1 - 3 pounds for a tablet).

Here are my thoughts on a guide.
1. Put the guide on online and build it like the “Chipguide” I don’t care if it’s separate but it wouldn’t hurt to have a way to filter the guide by casino type (Indian, Cardroom, Illegal).
2. Ed put your current prices in the guide and let “us” the experts chime in with what we see at today’s price (taking a sampling of what was paid for a chip for eBay or in other sales).
3. Have the ability to be able to print copies of the guide with prices and detail information (charge a fee to have this right if needed to cover server costs).
4. At the same time have a category of UFC chips since they seem to get identified over time and if you give people a chance to see the UFC’s they might get the exposure to be identified.
5. Keeping the guide evergreen is a key thing, be it Ed or any other person who wants to contribute to the guide, knowledge is power, if a hoard of chips is found, it should be documented.
