On the Harold's Club $5s, there were thousands - maybe tens of thousands - that never hit the tables and were sold to a dealer after Harold's closed. You see them often for about $2 each now.
Bucket of Blood in Virginia City had one or two blackjack tables before it ended its live gaming. I remember playing there once in the late '70s. There was a $2 maximum (not minimum) bet at the tables, and if I remember correctly, they were using only tokens, not chips. Maybe someone else can shed some light on whether the chips ever hit the tables.
I went to the Bird Farm in Fallon once. They were extremely tight with their chips, but all of the ones I saw were table-used. I got a couple of nice $5s, but they definitely were circulated.
