Ivory chip crosshatching, a perfect example

When collectors talk about identifying ivory chips by looking at the crosshatching this is what they are talking about. It is hard to see in some chips but it is there. See this chip and 2 more on my eBay. Look at both sides of each chip to see obvious and not so obvious crosshatching. Soon you will be an expert on identifying an ivory chips. The horse head is eloquent, stunning and done by hand so it is a little different on each side.
