Nice article. The only thing I would question is what the definition of "greatest" is. If greatest means most talented - I think you would have to put Ungar as #1 - Wouldn't you just love to see how competitive he would be in today's large fields? If "greatest" means greatest influence on today's game - the #1 spot would have to go to Moneymaker, though you might argue that if it wasn't Moneymaker, it would have been someone else who similiarly would have risen up from the internet satellite world and taken the bracelet. As far as icons or ambassadors for the game - I guess you cant argue with Doyle being #1 - a great mix of personality, influence, writer and pure poker skill. Doyle also represents the bridge from poker being a backroom game to being center stage on ESPN.
