Alot of chippers don't like the brittle plastic flips because they tend to break at the hinged part, but other than a relatively expensive Air-tite, the brittle plastic flip is the more economical way to go. It does not contain harmful PVC (polyvinylchloride) which is the chemical added that makes plastic pliable ... and causes red CHIPCO's to bleed.
