I also learned that the hard way! I have found that most Chipco red chips will bleed onto whatever they are near! Plastic pages in albums, cover sheets in Dansco albums and, yes, into any other lighter colored chip they are stacked with for any period of time, particularly in chip storage boxes!

Also, the "bleed" is there to stay!!!

Let's hope some other members read this and are saved that problem!
