I only start at .99 if I am willing to sell it for what ever it bids up to. These days, the bids are not great on anything. Yes, you will get more lookers but that doesn't mean they will be willing to pay what you are looking for anyway. I would suggest starting it at the minimum you would accept for it or put a reserve on it.
