There were a couple of ebay best practices threads within the last few weeks but I don't recall this question being asked.....

How have you all done with listing at $.99 vs. listing at starting price much higher? As a seller I am scared to death to do a $.99 starting bid for fear that I get way below value. As a buyer however, I know how I tend to gravitate to the true auctions and rarely BIN or bid on an auction with a high starting price.

What does everyone else think? How have you done, generally by starting at $.99?
