It's not a matter of money Al. There is nothing wrong with the dependable HP printers I've owned. I get a lot of use out of them... plus I have several extra laser cartridges in reserve that were purchased on ebay at very reasonable prices. In fact, I've purchased HP 2500 and 2550 printers on Craigslist just for the unused portion of the ink cartridges and give the printers away to charity. I just use the printers as "boxes or containers" to transport the cartridges back home. The laser cartridges for my HP printer retail for over $100 each in Staples but they have a large page/print capacity and last a long time.
