If you're having problems printing in color in a program (versus in general, which is how you described it), look at the printer properties within that program. For example - if it's in WORD, try to print, but while the print info box is displayed, look at the far upper right corner - PROPERTIES. Click there, and look at the COLOR tab. It could be that you've somehow set it to MONOCHROME.

If the printer prints in color with the images but not the text, the problem lies within the program, not the printer.

Try this first, and look elsewhere within the program if this isn't the issue.
