Speaking only to the nature of chips, but not to..

the hot-stamp, I believe that those kind of injection molded chips are not from recent Far East wizardry.

I have come across chips of that same design, appearing to be for home use in packaging that would tend to pre-date the Far East engagements.

Not at my fingertips now, but I will locate and scan them this evening. The chips do not 'feel' to be plastic, and instead are more like plaster. The always feel cool to the touch.

However, I would suspect that what Don is showing is/are gift shop acquired or a special order as an executive gift.

Just my opinion, and I will provides scans of the ones I have (and packaging) later.
