I went as far as I could with the WMK chip. Delivered in 1954. No phone listed in Reno area in the time frame the chip was delivered. He was not listed on a Reno area gaming license that I could find. If WMK was in Reno, he left no trace.
Internet phone search of the entire USA turned up a small number of Kriter's.
Most were in AZ. I called them all except one that lived in OK. The OK one had moved on and I could not find him. The other Kriters ALL reported that it was an unusual spelling and ALL of their roots went back to Canada. BC if I remember right. None had ever heard of WMK. None had ever been involved in gaming. In fact all but one Kriter I talked to reported that they were related in some way with the others. The other Kriter thought he was the only Kriter left in the world. He was happy to hear that he might have relatives. Geez, did I have a phone bill that month.
