After the intial investment, as long as I dont go crazy on new gear, I can brew roughly 48 beers for the price of about 1 case of comprable beer.

I.E-1 $30 case of sam adams, or 2 cases of my beer for $34. The bottles are reusable, with proper cleaning. As I want to make more exotic flavors, of course cost will go up, but compared to what the prices are at the distributor, I cant beat it.
