Extra! The Superbowl... Who Cares?

Hi All,

As someone who gazes at the USA from across the pond, my question is... how important is a game of American football?

Ok if your local team is playing I can understand a passionate following of the outcome, but if you live 1,000's of miles away from either teams home city, surely it's just another game.

Am I off kilter due to the 3,500 mile gulf between us, or do most Colonial Cousins agree?

Does the Superbowl really matter if you are a neutral??

Your thoughts and pearls of wisdom are welcome
