I was there a couple of months ago, and you can purchase the remaining LE chips they have available for face value ($5) at the registration desk, but the supply is down to about five chips. It's true they no longer have them on the tables, and don't have plans to issue other LE chips. These chips also generally show up in pots in the poker room from time to time. Hope this helps.
