Made a list of all family members starting with my mother, leave no one off.
2nd, friends, workmen, delivery people, neighbors kids, neighbors, etc that had been in the house.

Check off who knew about the chips, the safes, your schedule. Did any of them show a special interest in your collection as of lately? Ask any questions lately? Did you recieve any phone calls prior to the break in? Which ones might have needed $!!!!!!!! Did any of them act differently after the break nin?

There are lots of other questions you will think of.

I'm betting the one with the most check marks is a good suspect.
