~~~ (such as the FLORIDIAN chips) they were packaged in a coated craft paper stock (like the old coin wrappers) and then set in their boxes. Those chips displayed full crosshatching when unwrapped. Thru the years I bought back several of those same chips... and I know that they were well-kept in either flips or coin envelopes. Most of them looked as though they were semi-worn; with lots of the crosshatching gone. Maybe it doesn't take much rubbing? I don't know...
