"The Colony" "110 South 20th St." ???....

Tonight I picked up a glass swizzle stick that is clear glass, 5 3/4" long and imprinted with "The Colony" "110 South 20th St." in yellow. "The Colony" is on one line and in a cursive-like font. The "110 South 20th St." is on a second line in the same font.

Scanning will be difficult as the two lines of text are opposite eachother and can be seen through the clear glass.

Included in the baggie of glass swizzle sticks is another 5 3/4" swizzle that is brown glass. It is imprinted with a coat of arms like logo at each end that is a shield with the letters "WH". Between the logos is the imprint "The WEBSTER Bar" on one line, "Webster Hall Hotel" on a second line and "Cass at Putnam" on a third line, all in script.

A 3rd swizzle, same length and color brown has a logo towards the ball tip that is a crest with large letter "C" and a ribbon below that has "CAVANAGH'S" printed. The lines of text on the stick, are as follows:

"CAVANAGH'S" and is very worn and hard to see. The "CAVANAGH's" on the crest logo is a needed clue!
"AIR CONDITIONED" is the next line.
"RESTAVRANT" is the next line, and Yes, spelled with a "V"!
"258 - 260 WEST TWENTYTHIRD STREET"

Lastly, to the right (towards the end you hold) is the Steeple and ball logo of the 1936 World's Fair in New York. Those words are included, along with the copyright symbol and "N.Y.W.F."

A fourth swizzle stick is a 7" long, blue stick, with stirring balls at each end. It is very hard to read the imprint and the best I can make out is:

A crest logo with the letter "S". One line reads: "HOTEL STATLER" and "ST. LOUIS" on a second line, directly below the first line. There is room for at least a 3rd line and maybe a forth, but nothing is printer, but the logo takes up all space around the stick.

Well thats it, except there were also 7 other, 5 3/4", thin glass sticks with no writing on them. 3 are clear, 2 are blue, 1 is smoke and 1 is light green.

So, any ideas about any of the four imprinted sticks being affiliated to any Illegal clubs?

Anyone, anyone, Bueller? vbg

Thanks for reading!

Jim
