I saw lately that the last remaining Flamingo Capri rooms (the IP capri rooms) are now history- they, along with the Flamingo tennis courts and the dozens of palm trees in between have been leveled and torn out in prep for the "Link" project.

Personally, I was quite annoyed at the total waste of just cutting the palms off near ground level instead of replanting them somewhere else or selling them to landscapers cheap- they were easily 25-30 feet high.
