Games of skill

Zeb,
When riverboat gambling was first approved in Missouri during the early 90's, the only
type of gambling allowed were "games of skill." Therefore, when you boarded the Casino St. Charles,
you were greeted with 3 levels of video poker (no slot machines), blackjack tables, and crap tables.
As you noted, we all had to have our loss-limit cards that were marked off for each time we bought
additional chips or video poker tokens. $500/2 hours. Because I enjoy video poker, I rather miss
the days of seeing row after row, carousel after carousel, of blinking video poker machines. Of course, if the
slot restriction hadn't been erased, I doubt the riverboats would've lasted until now.
