All the clerks were wrong

The destination had nothing to do with it. Only the wieght. Yours went as flats as they should. (0 cents for one oz. or less and $1.10 for two ounces or less. I work for the P.O. If you are still paying parcel rates, and are too lazy to go to their web page and print the defination of a parcel, go ahead and waste your money. Just take the page with you. FYI some bubble envelopes can pass as letters. Look up large envelopes. Large envelopes (flats) that are rigid, nonrectangular, or not uniformly thick pay package prices. (parcel) Any bubble envelope can pass this test. They are not rigit. To pass the "flop test" they only have to lay half way off the counter, be pressed down on the end with the finger and bend one inch without breaking. Of course they are rectangular and they are uniformly thick unless you stack the chips at random. Of course you can not go over 3/4 inch thick or over 13 oz. Again go to the web site and print out the web pages and take them with you. Better yet, mail from home. No hassle, no line.
