This is some mind boggling work. I thought this would be an easy project but 2 hours later and I have 3 scanned and I don't like any of them. The one that I put on here blends in. I have one that I thought was good but when I put in on the form that I will be using for my site it was a different size and it make all of the cells larger. I reduced the size but it still looks different.

I am using a flat bed scanner and since the chips are thick it seems to get light under and there are shadows in some images. I tried taking a piece of white board and cut a hole in it just the size of the chip but all that did was blend the chip to the board. I tried putting a bright light above the scanner to eliminate the shadow but that didnt work. I tried scanning in the dark and that made it darker.

Maybe if I had an actual image editor software instead of free online stuff this would be easier.
