As a former federal prosecutor (who in 1960-65 didn't have on-line frauds to prosecute of course ) I know just how tough it is to prosecute money laundering cases so I am not surprised with the US accepting the plea. It should be noted that many blame the DOJ for bringing on-line poker playing to a halt but behind the scenes was the kind of activity going on that is now being prosecuted--hundreds of millions of dollars being frauded.
