I have seen a few old chips and plaques with the line "Cercle des Etrangers". I have a purple chip with that on it and I saw a plaque newly posted on the Chip Guide from Barcelona, with the same line. I was wondering if the chips, some people say are from Monte Carlo, might have letters in the detail that represent the same thing. The little C E P letters are a mystery to me. Perhaps Cercle des Etrangers...something...
Any thought from the old European chip collectors out there? I meant collectors of old European chips
