C. C. "Curly" Cunningham, age 91, of Holland, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Hospice House of Holland.
Curly was a well known bowler in the Holland area. He was a member of Fourth Reformed Church. He worked for G.M. Fisher Body as a journeyman tool & die maker and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna, in 1995.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Cunningham and her husband, Michael White, and their sons, Seth and Clark, Susan Cunningham and her husband, Rick Nyenhuis, and their children, Chris and Tammy Nyenhuis and Mitch and Carrie Nyenhuis; and four great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Burke, Louise (Tony) Marfia; sister-in-law, Grace Brower; and his "honey", Char Van Dyke and her family; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 24, at New Community Fourth Reformed Church, 238 West 15th Street, in Holland. Pastor Jonathan Brownson will be officiating. A private interment has taken place in Pilgrim Home Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to Fourth Reformed Church. Arrangements are by Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Home.
