I collect different manufacturing styles of chips. As the old catalogs indicate, you had many choices of materials and styles. The white 5 chip below is a regular clay chip. The yellow and red chips are very light plastic. A few of these chips have a speckled/bird egg look to them. The blue 5 and white 20 are light celluloid chips as listed in the Kernan catalog. I guess I still don't know what the difference is between celluloid and plastic. The word Paranoid must refer to a level of quality and not a material the chips are made of. A strange name/word for sure.
