The chip will always be worth at least the $25 in AC. I have seen them sell in the $25-35 range. If you are looking for an investment you probably can get a better return in a lot of other places. If it is the only casino chip you have it could be a great introduction into the hobby. The enjoyment of collecting and the freinds you can make in the hobby are worth more than the chip in my opinion.
