IMO, Rule 1: The 1st place I look is the dominate letter on the chip.

I have found others this rule does not apply to from most if not all chip makers.

Example: A dominate C sometimes means CLUB which sometimes is the last letter in the sequence. Sometimes not!

In other words: There are no rules!
