Looking at the California chip guide it says:

LOS ANGELES, CA
1933 – CLOSED
NO OTHER INFORMATION

I assummed it meant closed in 1933, not opened in 1933 and close at some unknown time.

Also, the USPC records show 3 colors. The guide said no other information rather then mentioning 3 colors.

A lot of confusion.

I assume that the Lion Club was a Chinese card room
