Today I was offered 1000 match books for 150 dollars. Some dating back to the 1940's. They were in two large bags. I didn't see anything I could really use, but have no idea what else could have been in there. I saw one old Coke MB the guy said is a 10 dollar book.

I really didn't feel like spending 150 dollars not knowing what was there. I know I could have resold a lot of them, but didn't want to be bothered. I kept wanting to go back as the mystery of what could have been in there was intriguing.

So did I make a mistake passing on it?
