But another question is are you collecting just chips or casino memorabilia or gaming history? Many people start out collecting chips then expand to other areas such as postcards, napkins, slot glass, etc, etc, etc... If you look through older posts you will see many collectors showing items that never had table play.

If you buy only for future value, then you won't enjoy yourself and it's not really collecting but investing. Bottom line, enjoy your hobby!
