Your scanner uses a CIS method of scanning instead of a CCD type ( has something to do with the type of chip in it). The CCD scanner will give almost perfect colors. As you can see I no longer have that problem. I use an Epson V100 that another chipper donated to me when I became a Chipguide administrator and my old scanner showed anything orange as white. His donation has not been repaid yet but it will as soon as I find a chip he needs.
